We believe everyone should have access to a life with joy and health that can be found within wellness.

Our vision is a world where people are healed, whole, and healthy.

Our mission is to provide mental health wellness through tailored wellness programs and therapy.

Our strategy centers participants and adopts a systems approach to change.

We meticulously analyze and observe the micro and macro systems within our clients' lives and environments to gain a comprehensive understanding of their specific needs.

This enables us to develop and offer well-established holistic solutions and interventions in mental health and wellness.

Life is such a wonderful story.

Robert Burton, a neurologist and novelist, explained that our brains reward us with dopamine when we recognize and complete patterns. Our stories are our life patterns, creating a beginning, a middle, and an end. Stories clear up the ambiguity in our minds, and our brains are happy when we sort out our life events and reframe and edit our stories consistently. Understanding the utility and power in our life stories is an elemental power.

The beautiful thing about life stories is that they’re written in pencil—we can go right in there, erase the harsh words, pay attention to the lesson, and change the mindset and action to change the outcome of our story.

I am here to hear yours.

In our counseling relationship, we will take a journey together to highlight and recall the stories and situations you have experienced and examine what these experiences meant. My work with my clients is grounded in the belief that we all have inner wisdom and the capacity to overcome any hardship or obstacle that might come our way if we increase our awareness and self-compassion. My work is all-inclusive, and I am trained to work with adults, couples, and adolescents. My therapeutic style is compassionate and energetic.

My approach is “eclectic,” meaning I will meet you wherever you are on your journey and we will devise a "treatment plan" collaboratively based on your specific situation. The clinical modalities I have experience with include Play Therapy,  Narrative Therapy, Meditation and Mindfulness, Yoga, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Creative Arts (Dance, Art, Music, and Movement), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.

My professional education is derived from Mercer University, where I earned an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. I am currently certified as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia (GA). I also serve on the board of the Licensed Professional Counseling Association of Georgia (LPCA-GA).

You are not alone. I see you. I hear you. And, yes, I understand.

A wise person once said, “Sometimes you have to lose your mind to gain peace of mind.” What if, on your journey back to peace, sanity, and being you again, you had somebody who was intentional about seeing, hearing, and understanding you, the realist version of you? What if you had somebody you trusted to validate and motivate when validation and motivation are necessary while educating when education is required and providing guidance where guidance is needed? What if you found someone with the modalities to be your personal somebody? I see you. I hear you. And even when I can’t relate, I try to understand. So, allow me to be your person or your personal somebody who provides peace in the midst of anxiety, confusion, doubt, fear, rage, grief, etc.

In our counseling relationship, I commit to being a passenger on your life journey to peace and healing, guiding and supporting you along the way. Let's take a road trip discussing in detail all the experiences and moments that contributed to the good and the bad that make you you. For the experiences that led to trauma, let’s walk and talk about it. When you can’t find the words to express your feelings, let’s listen to music, your choice, and talk about how it made you feel and why. You’re completely drained and just want to free your mind, let's meditate and/or journal. You just want to vent. I’ve been there too. Come see me. The prosperity of your journey to change is contingent upon you. You are the best version of yourself when your needs are being met. So, regardless of how old or young you are or what you're going through, your time to endure, heal, and grow begins now. Say goodbye to the old you and hello to the new and improved version of you.

My therapeutic approach centers around the core of who I am as a whole being. I pride myself on creating and maintaining a welcoming, safe space for peace. This safe space is filled with compassion, empathy, understanding, and is free of judgment. My personal experiences with trauma assist me in my understanding, patience, and empathy towards others. I welcome your authenticity into an unbiased space where you can speak freely from your heart and mind about any and all struggles and transgressions you have experienced and endured. "Beneath every behavior is a feeling. And beneath every feeling is a need. And when we meet that need rather than focus on the behavior, we begin to deal with the cause, not the symptom." If you promise to be intentional about communicating your needs, acknowledging your feelings, and taking accountability for your behavior, I commit to doing my due diligence in meeting those needs to promote peace and a never-ending journey of healing.

I procured my professional education at Mercer University as a double Bear. I have two Master's Degrees, MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and MS in Organizational Leadership. I am certified as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and licensed as an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) in the State of Georgia.
